In preparation for iKon rapper, Bobby, and his comeback on the 25th, I have been digging back into his older stuff to get my hype. And so this song by his subunit with Winner rapper, Mino, obviously had to come back into my radar. And now I can't stop listening to it.
Bobby and Mino are rappers under YG Entertainment and so therefore automatically they are among my favorite rappers in the industry. YG knows how to breed rappers who are full of swag and charisma to the point where you can't ever look away from them (they've gifted us with the likes of G-Dragon and CL). These guys are definitely no exception to this. Their swag and charisma on their own is undeniable. Bobby is one of the top rappers in the industry and even though I'm not a fan of Winner I'm certainly a fan of Mino and his sexy raps. Then you put these two together... you know you're gonna hear a song that is undeniably a bop.
This song's beat kicks in from the get go with pulsating synths and a hook that is bound to get in your head within a few listens (boom bya girl). The bass fills your body and the beat makes you wanna dance. The raps delivered from Bobby and Mino are supreme but I expect nothing less. Bobby brings his intense charisma and Mino brings his sexy fire in their respective verses that just fit so perfectly together. Then there's the bridge that slows everything down into that one last chorus.
Full House can feel a bit all over the place; a bit chaotic if you will. But that's the beauty of this track. It can feel chaotic but that's the beauty of it. YG's rappers all have this charisma to the point of almost chaotic energies because there's so much to show off and prove. Then you put two of them together and you're bound to get a song that appeals to their energies. It's a chaotic song but it's undeniably a bop. The good stuff from this song definitely outweigh the bad stuff. It's a song that's meant to be played on repeat and I'm taking full advantage of it.
