Today is Friday which means midterms are over for me which means SPRING BREAK! I'm flying home tonight and I'm so excited to have a week of rest and relaxation. It's supposed to be really nice next week which means I will have the windows down and the radio up. Anyone who knows me knows that this is my favorite way to listen to music (especially at sundown). So this list will be some of my favorites to jam to with the windows down and the wind in my hair, screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs.
1. Highway to Heaven - NCT 127
This is the definition of a summer song. It's such a chill vibe and the chorus with the 80s instrumental really settle it at the top of this playlist. Plus, it mentions the highway (lol) so it's perfect for driving. I see the wind in my hair as I listen to this.
2. You Can't Hold My Heart - Monsta X
I wrote in my review for All About Luv that I couldn't wait to have this on with the windows down. Well since that review, the cd has not left my car and I KC had a couple of nice days and let me tell you, this song was perfect for that highway drive (and the whole album really). The instrumental and catchy chorus is perfect for the spring time drives. Even though this is a break-up song I can't help but feel peppy.
3. what a life - EXO-SC
What a life indeed. Kick back and relax to Sehun and Chanyeol of EXO rapping about living their best lives. This video is full of summer vibes and the song is full of summer vibes. It's a song to bop to but also a song chill to. It's perfect for that drive down the highway.
4. Sunset - KNK
This song is more for sunset drives. I had this on one nice weekend night while I was in my dorm doing homework and the vibe was so nice. It's an electro-pop song that has these sexy vocals. It's not one for really belting out lyrics but it's certainly a chill song to have your hand hanging out the window to. Chill out and vibe to this during the summer and it will feel great.
5. Page - GOT7
This is a fun tune. The instrumental is a nice pop tune perfect for the car. The chorus is so catchy so it's perfect for belting out in the car. I can't wait to scream "I think I love you" into the open air. This song will also be perfect for a drive with your significant other.
6. Victoria - ONE
Low-key hip hop I feel is perfect for the windows down drives and this song is it. The nice groove that I can see playing over the radio at sunset. Nothing much else can be said, it's a great, chill summer tune.
7. Crazy Sexy Cool - Astro
I feel like any song with cool in the title automatically becomes a summer tune. It's such a fun, catchy pop song. That's literally it. Who doesn't love a fun tune to sing along to? This song will be a summer staple for me for SURE.
