Track Review: Losing You - Wonho

Wonho is K-Pop's sweetheart. I have yet to discover an idol or really any performer in general who loves their fans just as much as Wonho does. Formally of Monsta X, he was credited for writing many love songs for their fans. And he's credited multiple times saying that his biggest fear is losing his fans. Losing You is essentially all about his biggest fear and is the most beautiful love letter I have ever experienced.

Sung in all English because Wonho wanted to communicate to all of his fans, this song is Wonho at his most vulnerable. He speaks to a love that he doesn't want to lose and if he loses himself in the process, then so what? It's a soft piano ballad meant to tug at the heart strings especially those who love him most. As someone who isn't big on ballads, I can't say anything bad about this song at all which is surprising. But Wonho's voice fits perfectly in this sound. It's heartbreaking but it's so beautiful.

Wonho has finally made his return doing what he loves most and I can't be happier. I feel every ounce of love in this track and it makes me cry every time. This track is everything Wonho's fans have wanted and I'm immensely proud of him.

Check out Losing You below and make sure you look out for Wonho's debut album, Love Synonym Pt 1, coming out September 4!
