Single Review: SET - WOODZ

There are a lot of soloists who hit the mark for me but none of them hit quite like WOODZ does. This guy can do it all from singing to rapping to dancing to producing, he's a complete package. Every release that he's had so far has been in a wide range of genres that he's proven to the world that can do it all. So when he announced a new single album, SET, I was excited to see what he would put forth this time to blow me away.

Feel Like is a song with pop-rock influences that's really evident in the guitar solo that happens in the chorus. The drums provide a nice groove to the old-style guitar melody that happens. WOODZ, being the complete musical chameleon he is, delivers a nice falsetto and smooth vocals that fit perfectly on top of this track. It's got grooves and power and most importantly charisma. WOODZ knows how to use his charms to deliver a track that will amaze you. He's incapable of being forgotten and Feel Like will certainly stick with you and be unforgettable.

The single album, SET, also comes with two b-sides that once again show his many musical charms. Touché is a track featuring singer, Moon, that showcases his smooth vocals over a chill hip-hop beat. Rebound is an all English song very reminiscent of The Weeknd with his r&b vocals with this dark beat and instrumental. He showcases his powerful vocals that would amaze anyone. This track has to be one of my favorite b-sides of the year because of how powerful and smooth it is. It's sexy.

WOODZ is a powerhouse of talent and he just showcases it with Feel Like and it's b-sides. SET is full of different sounds and he takes them all with no problems. It once again proves he can take on any concept and song and make it his own. I highly recommend these tracks to anyone.
