Sometimes there are songs or artists that I make note to listen to and it takes ages for me to actually do so. Usually, it takes one special song to break free from that list. Demian has been a victim to that list since he debuted last year and LOVE% is that special song. This song's atmosphere and groove made it destined to become a staple in my playlist since the first listen.
LOVE% is very house-inspired so it's destined to be a groove from the get-go. The song opens with these atmospheric, lo-fi synths that draw you in. Then Demian's falsetto seals the deal. His vocals really add to the atmosphere and vibe this song has and we haven't even gotten to the chorus. The song builds so beautifully to this explosive chorus. LOVE% showcases his vocal range with the build-up featuring his lower tone and the chorus featuring this silky smooth vocal.
Then there's DAWN's rap. His higher tone rap fits well with the vibe of this song. His verse is short but it really adds another texture to this incredible song. It carries and flows well with what Demian had built in the first half of the song. Plus, DAWN is one of my favorite rappers so it was nice to hear him in this song.
Overall, this song is just a huge vibe. The instrumental is perfect in every way and Demian and DAWN really meld well together to add another texture to this song. It's a perfect dance tune with the chorus but it's also a perfect chill song. LOVE% truely deserves a spot on any playlist you have.
